The Actors Studio moves into a spanking new home at the rooftop of Lot 10. Thanks to the generosity of YTL Corp, the new venue promises to make theatre more accessible to city folks. To celebrate the launch, FREE shows have been scheduled for the whole of this week. Performances are as follows:

* Oct 13 , 8.30pm: Side by Side by Side by Side musical recital feat. Joel Wong, Tracy Wong, Idzam Othman and Geneviene Wong

* Oct 14 , 8.30pm: All-male singer-songwriter showcase feat. Azmyl Yunor, Ariff Akhir, Ian Chow and Tony Leo

* Oct 15, 8.30pm: Contemporary dance showcase featuring choreography by Gan Chih Pei, Bilqis Hijjas, Teresa Chian, Mew Chang Tsing, Leng Poh Gee, Ming Low and Choo Tee Kuang (curated by MyDance
Alliance)

* Oct 16, 8.30pm: Double bill – Allah & Mangli feat. Qahar Aqilah and Redza Minhat (Allah), Ashraf Zain and Tuan Faisal (Mangli); directed by Megat Sharizal and written by Adiwijaya

* Oct 17, 8.30pm: Classical and classical pop concert feat. KLPac String Ensemble and conducted by Brian Tan

* Oct 18, 8.30pm: T4YP Sweatshop feat. KLPac’s T4YP Ensemble and directed by Christopher Ling

18-year old homeschooler Ethan has been homeschooled by his parents all his life. Early this year, he applied to join a missions exposure programme on board the ship LOGOS HOPE, which was then berthed in Denmark. He flew to Denmark on his own and spent 6 months traversing the seas and 11 European cities. In this presentation, he talks about being a homeschooler and how his experience abroad impacted his life.
