SOME FAQs

Where do these notices come from?
Most of the notices listed here were sent in by friends or members of our homeschooling community in Malaysia.

How do I get my event listed, and do I have to pay for it?
You can email me at david.tan(at)homeschoolhomefrontier.com. [When emailing replace (at) with @]The list is a community service provided free of charge. However, since this is a moderated site operated on a voluntary basis, whether your message or event is listed is entirely at my discretion. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained.

What kind of notices do you prefer?
Glad you asked. I think simple announcements get my attention, preferably with a single image or graphic. If you have a number of images (as in items for sale) please upload your images to a file sharing host such as this one. Again, I reserve the right to resize images or edit the language as and where necessary.

What sort of frequency is an announcement allowed, and how long does it stay on the site?
The lists are featured on monthly pages on NOTICES and will stay as long as necessary. I will delete the event once it’s over. I’m afraid I won’t be able to entertain requests for repeats or reminders.
