Homefrontier – on Facebook

Posted by DAVID BC TAN under: Announcement on 31 May 2010.

HF3 I’ve got a page on Facebook now (finally!),  so that’s one more avenue for discussion and networking.  I hope to pool updates, announcements and photos, so if you’re homeschooling and if you want a shout-out regarding meet-ups, events, socials, etc, let me know. No promises, but I’ll do what I can.  The homeschooling community is a small but diverse one – which is one of the things I love about it! It helps to keep informed and in touch. Cheers!

Hi,

We have been homeschooling our daughter, Sarah for the past 2 1/2 years using the ACE program. And today, we simply bless God for leading us towards homeschooling for our daughter. We have dreams to open a learning center for homeschoolers in Penang for quite a while but it has never materialised. However this dream would not just go away and recently the dream has become stronger and we feel that God is leading us more and more towards this direction. Please pray for us to hear God’s voice directing us and for His Will and Timing. Pray that God will open the doors for us to open this learning center in Penang. Thank you for your prayers and we would welcome any input/advise or support.

In His Hands,

Joyce and Nicholas

Hello Vivian,
I’m sorry that you may have been misinformed. Homeschool is education that takes place at home, and parents usually are the primary tutors. Do scroll through our resources or read some of our past articles on homeschooling if you need to find out more about educating your own children at home.
Cheers,
David Tan
